Join the Friends of the CTPL

Join the Friends of the Clinton Township Public Library in their support of our library.

Join us

You are invited to join the Friends of the Clinton Township Public Library.  As a member of the Friends of the Library, you will have the opportunity to share your enthusiasm for books and the services our library offers.  Our combined ideas, talents, and time can help support and promote the continued growth of the library and its services.

The Friends is a non-profit organization.  Membership funds and all money raised are used to support the needs of the library.

Many libraries throughout the United States have Friends groups actively supporting them.  Through Friends' efforts to create awareness and appreciation of library services, libraries are strengthened and communities are better served.

How do we contribute?

The Friends of the Clinton Township Public Library was established in 1987 to promote and aid the library and its programs.  The group regularly purchases or funds:

  • Circulating Materials (books, DVDs, Audio-books, etc.)
  • Computers
  • Furniture & Equipment
  • Programs (summer reading, and speakers)

To raise money, the Friends hold used book sales on the first Saturday of each month except September and October.  An extended book sale is held during the Clinton Fall Festival.  Book donations are welcomed during library hours.

Everyone interested in supporting the library is welcome and invited to become a Friend of the Clinton Township Public Library.
